The Eastern and Southern Africa Dairy Association (ESADA) has signed an MOU with the livestock breeders association outlining the modus operandi for the running of the 4th African Dairy Exhibition and the bi-annual Brookside Livestock Breeders and Association show and sale.
The 4th African Dairy Conference and Exhibition will take place from June 4, 2008 to June 6, 2008 in Nairobi, Kenya. The conference will take place at the Hotel Intercontinental, within the Nairobi Central Business District, while the exhibition will take place at the Jamhuri Park alongside the Brookside Livestock Breeders Show and Sale.
According to the MOU, ESADA will pay for a 20M by 40M area for its exhibitors to the livestock breeders trust. ESADA will brand the area and cover it with marquee. Booth shells will be constructed inside the marquee for the regional and as well as local exhibitors. The exhibitors will make a decision whether to exhibit at the ESADA international pavilion or at the open ground or both.
While the exhibitors at the open ground will source and pin up their own tents, at the ESADA International pavilion, booth shell will be constructed under a huge marquee and the exhibitors can brand them as they deem appropriate.
ESADA pavilion will rise above all other tents in the area and will be very ideal for regional companies. Each booth shell will have electricity and water will be provided. Additional security will be provided inside the ESADA pavilion during the day and at night.
Delegates attending the conference will be shuttled to the exhibition from the Hotel Intercontinental on the two afternoons i.e. Thursday, June 5, 2008 and Friday, June 6, 2007.
The 4th African Dairy Conference and Exhibition promises to be a huge success mainly because it is covering the whole dairy value chain. Normally, over 15,000 participants grace the Brookside livestock breeders' show and sale majority of them farmers. This year, we are taking the African dairy to the world as well as bring the word to experience the African dairy industry. It is a dairy experience you can not afford to miss!
