Hanspack CC was established in 1997 as a supplier of various packaging materials to the dairy and fruit juice industries.  Hanspack runs a blow moulding plant which makes 250ml and 500ml HDPE bottles for various fruit juice and dairy packers and white bottles for Drink Yoghurt packers.

To extend the basket of products that Hanspack CC supplies there are also a range of 1lt and 2lt HDPE bottles, and 2, 3, 4 and 5lt PET bottles available.

From June 2005 Hanspack CC has increased it's basket to the dairy industry by supplying various unprinted yoghurt cups from Marcom Plastics (A member of the Astra Packaging Group) and a printed and unprinted Feta Cup and various sizes of buckets.  As a service to its export customers in Africa, Hanspack CC also introduced a handling service on Printed Cups for several of its customers.  This was done to bring down transport and documentation costs on duel exports and to assist customers to deal only with one company to handle their procurement.  This service was later extended to some of the South African customers to help them to reduce transport costs by increasing their single deliveries.

Hanspack CC is also a supplier of various manufacturing and processing equipment for the dairy and juice industry and a wide range of machinery options are available.  Hanspack CC is also involved in various turn key projects were the customer needed assistance from the start of the project up to production.

In conjunction with Hanspack CC is Regal Fruits CC which supplies all the ingredients required to the juice and dairy industries for the production and value adding of different milk products.

Regal Fruits CC was started in June 2005 by some familiar faces in the small to medium scale dairy industry namely Riaan Steyn, Stephan Steyn and Pieter Miessner.

Some of the products in the Regal Fruits basket includes: 100% Fruit Juice concentrates, Fruit Nectar Concentrates, Dairy Fruit Mix Concentrates, Various Fruit Preparations for Yoghurt, various Fruited Syrups for Drink Yoghurt, a full range of cultures, stabilisers and powders for fermented milk production and also some specialised application stabilisers.  We have also recently introduced various Milk Protein blends and a Soy Protein Milk replacer for ice cream manufacturing.

Our suppliers and manufacturers are committed to supplying quality products for us to export, and also for the South African market.  They all adhere to a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and their products are approved by numerous authorities and manufacturers in South Africa, including: Kosher, Halaal, Woolworths supplier, Spar Brand supplier, Shoprite supplier, Pick and Pay supplier.  Some of these companies conduct their own independent factory audits for GMP and our suppliers on the fruit preparations have scored an average of 80% on these audits.

Hanspack CC and Regal Fruits CC are managed by its owners and they have the following expertise in their positions:

Riaan Steyn Operational and Financial.  Has been dealing with financial, export and operations in the industry since 1995.
Pieter Miessner Warehouse and Procurement.  Has been dealing with these tasks and with export documentation and process since 1997.
Stephan Steyn Technical and Sales.  Has been in the industry since 2001.  He is responsible for all technical assistance to customers, assisting with formulations, specialised application products and all relevant technical backup.  He is also responsible for all training and commissioning of equipment, and to give assistance to train customer's production staff.
